Britney Spears has problems with alcohol

According to late news, it appears that the "source of evil" of Britney Spears' recent emotional problems is the post-partum depression.

Celebrity website TZM.com claims that according to the doctors from the rehabilitation center where Spears checked in, the superstar doesn't have problems with drugs and just "minor" problems with the alcohol.

The doctors believe that the source of Britney's recent weird behavior is either "post-partum depression or bipolar disorder", according to a source quoted by TZM.com. The specialists concluded that Britney acted that way because she thinks she lost control of her life.

Meanwhile, the star had the chance to see her two boys while being checked into the Promises rehabilitation center, who were brought there by her mother Lynne Spears and her estranged husband Kevin Federline. Britney didn't see them in the past days.

According to the Mirror, Federline and their two sons spent almost two hours with Britney, and then left at Kevin's home in the San Fernando Valley.

George Michael sais marijuana ruines his memory

Pop superstar George Michael blames his marijuana habit for his dreadful memory - he can remember hardly anything from his days in 1980s pop duo WHAM!

The Faith singer admits he is addicted to the drug - and is aware it is slowly ruining his voice - but believes it keeps him creative. Michael says, “It’s strange how little I remember from the Wham! days because I was working so much. “I was totally sober at that time and although there were some important experiences, like our tour to China, I can hardly remember anything.”

George Michael insists he could never end his marijuana habit, as the drug “boosts” his creativity. But the British singer admits the drug is also ruining his vocal chords, and fears his drug-taking is threatening his career as much as helping it. He says, “I wish I’d never started smoking pot. It soothes my soul but it also destroys my voice. “I am addicted to marijuana - I need it to stay creative. “Sometimes when I’m writing songs, I struggle for hours to find the right expression. Then I smoke a joint, and five minutes later, I’ve finished the verse. “I can’t function in the real world without being creative - and marijuana keeps me creative.”

Anna Nicole Smith's burial stopped

A Florida appeals court has suspended a lower court ruling that would have allowed the burial of former Playboy Playmate Anna Nicole Smith in the Bahamas, as the battle over her baby shifted to the Bahamian capital.

The Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach granted an emergency petition by Smith's mother, Virgie Arthur, to stop a court-appointed guardian for Smith's five-month-old daughter from taking the body to the islands, where Smith lived the final months of her life.

The legal manoeuvring further delayed a funeral for Smith, the buxom tabloid star who died suddenly at age 39 on February 8 at a Florida casino hotel.

Her decomposing body remains at a medical examiner's office in Dania Beach, Florida.
Ms Arthur wants Smith buried in her native Texas.

Ms Arthur's appeal seeks to overturn a ruling by Broward County Judge Larry Seidlin last week following an emotional week-long hearing to determine who had the right to bury the former topless dancer and billionaire's widow.

Smith's death touched off a legal firestorm over the body and custody of her baby, Dannielynn.

The appellate court's ruling halted the transfer of the body temporarily and asked lawyers in the case to respond by tomorrow afternoon to Ms Arthur's appeal.

Judge Seidlin ruled that Smith's daughter was her legal next of kin and ordered her remains turned over to Miami lawyer Richard Milstein, who was appointed as Dannielynn's guardian to protect the rights of the baby during legal proceedings.

Mr Milstein said he was arranging to bury Smith beside her son Daniel, who died last year, in the Bahamas.

In Nassau, lawyers for Ms Arthur and Smith's former boyfriend Larry Birkhead, who says he is the baby's biological father, went to court for a procedural hearing in a custody fight over the child.

Smith's longtime lawyer and companion, Howard Stern, is listed as the child's father on her birth certificate but both Mr Birkhead and Ms Arthur are vying for custody.

Mr Birkhead's lawyer, Debra Opri, said she was challenging the legitimacy of the birth certificate.

Mr Birkhead is seeking a DNA test on the baby to prove his claim he is the biological father.

"All the pending actions have been consolidated under Mr Birkhead's fraud action on the birth certificate and we anticipate DNA testing," Ms Opri said.

Smith's estate could ultimately be worth millions if it wins a legal battle over the estate of her late husband, billionaire oil tycoon J Howard Marshall.

"Major U.S. networks are interested in a program idea developed by 19 Entertainment on Victoria but as of yet no announcement has been made," said the spokesman.

A spokesman for the couple said Victoria Beckham, who rose to fame as "Posh Spice" in the British pop group The Spice Girls but has since struggled to revive her singing career, was interested in appearing in a new TV show.

Reports that the 32-year-old singer and fashion designer was going to appear in a reality TV show based on her move to Los Angeles were dismissed.

The Beckhams are among Britain's most talked-about celebrity pairs but are lesser known in the United States.

Christina Aguilera is not pregnant

Christina Aguilera is not pregnant, the singer’s rep tells Usmagazine.com.

The statement was issued in response to magazine and newspaper reports published Wednesday claiming that the 26-year-old is expecting a child.

“It’s all made up,” the rep tells Us.

An employee at the Beverly Hills kids boutique Bellini told the New York Daily News that Aguilera and her husband of more than a year, Jordan Bratman, went on a $3,000 shopping spree at the store on Saturday where she confided that she’s having a baby.

"They seemed really excited,” a worker at the boutique told the Daily News.

“She was talking to [another customer] and she said she took a home pregnancy test and that it was positive. She kept saying they'd have to come back when they knew the sex of the baby.”

However, Xtina’s rep says that the employee needs to get her eyes checked because the singer was 50,000 feet in the air at the time of the supposed sighting.

“She was not at Bellini. She was on a plane to Las Vegas for the NBA appearance.”

Britney Spears - Thirs Time in Rehab!

Spears showed up at Federline's house last night and was seen trying to enter but Kevin who was inside with the kids wouldn't let her in which led to Britney becoming visibly upset and snapping at the stalkerazzi.

Kevin is very concerned for Britney and wants her to get all the help she needs. He reportedly told her that this is her last chance and if she does not go through with the full treatement he will immediately go to court seeking full custody of the children. Britney is also not speaking to her mother who has joined forces with Kevin for the sake of the children.

Spears is back at Promises and the entire treatment should last anywhere between 30 to 45 days.

Blogger sued for posting topless pic of Jennifer Aniston

Celebrity-gossip blogger was sued Tuesday by the Universal Studio for copyright infringement, accusing Hilton of posting a stolen topless picture of Jennifer Aniston that was shot and then swiped either during production or post-production of 2006's The Break-Up.

The scantily clad shot of Aniston, 38, didn't end up in the final cut of the anti-romantic comedy, which grossed more than $118 million at the box office last summer amid reports of a real-life hookup between Aniston and costar Vince Vaughn.

Universal City Studios Productions alleges that the shot posted on perezhilton.com was "misappropriated and illegally copied," according to court documents obtained by the Smoking Gun, and that Hilton "illegally obtained a copy of all or part of the stolen footage."

The blog purveyor, whose real name is Mario Lavandeira, then disregarded a letter sent earlier this month requesting that he take down the offending footage and continued to display the racy shot, Universal states in its complaint.

Hilton's legal camp is saying, however, that the picture was just as available for viewing on other Websites, and that because Hilton published the picture "for the purpose of commentary and satire," his actions constitute fair use.

"It is unfortunate that Universal has chosen to bring this lawsuit as our client has done nothing wrong," attorney Bryan Freedman said.

Celebrity photo agency X17 has filed a $7.5 million copyright suit against Hilton, accusing him of using its images without permission, a complaint that the Miami native has said is just one more opportunity to make his point via the justice system.

Jennifer Aniston is no stranger to being caught with her top down, either.

The actress, who recently vouched for the authenticity of her cleavage in an interview with People, reached an undisclosed settlement with photographer Peter Brandt last September in an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit she filed against the paparazzo in 2005, accusing him of using a telephoto lens to snap her inside her home while she was partly undressed.

Brandt maintains that he took his photos while standing on a public street at least 300 yards away from Aniston's home.

Carmen Electra divorces rock star

Actress Carmen Electra and rock star Dave Navarro have officially divorced, seven months after separating because of "irreconcilable differences".

The couple chronicled their November 2003 marriage on MTV reality show 'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave.

Former Baywatch star Electra, 34, and the 39-year-old ex-Jane's Addiction guitarist will now split their assets according to a premarital agreement.

Electra's publicist said the separation had been amicable.

Electra, real name Tara Patrick, has also presented programmes for MTV and appeared in several films including Scary Movie and Starsky and Hutch.

She was also briefly married to basketball star Dennis Rodman in 1998.

Michael Jackson is sued again

A dead woman's family sued Michael Jackson and a Santa Maria, Calif., hospital, claiming the gravely ill woman was moved to accommodate the pop star.

The complaint, filed two years after Manuela Gomez Ruiz died, claimed abuse of celebrity status against Jackson, The Los Angeles Times said. The Marian Medical Center in Santa Maria, also was named in the suit that seeks unspecified damages.

The family previously said publicly that Ruiz, 73, admitted for a heart attack and on life support, was moved from the trauma unit for Jackson, whose Feb. 15, 2005, admission to the hospital for flu-like symptoms forced the cancellation of a court session in his child molestation trial, the Times said. Ruiz suffered a second heart attack and died that day.

A statement from the hospital said the suit, filed last Thursday, was without merit and is "another frivolous claim to generate publicity."
While offering sympathy to the Ruiz family, the statement said, "Patient care and safety is always our priority."

The suit alleged both intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress, elder abuse, false imprisonment and conspiracy.

Kelly Osbourne shocked a London crowd Sunday night when she revealed that a member of her family is living with the virus that causes AIDS.

The daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne, who starred on the reality series The Osbournes, made the tearful confession at a fundraising event for the Body & Soul organization at the city’s Koko club.

“This charity is really important to me because one of my family is HIV positive. And I am so, so proud of him,” Osbourne said.

The 22-year-old attended the benefit concert with her cousin Terry, 40, a hairdresser and star of the UK show The Salon.

In addition to her famous father, 58, Kelly’s family includes mother Sharon, 54, sister Aimee, 23, brother Jack, 21, half-sister Jessica, 35, and half-brother Louis, 32. Kate Hudson And Owen Wilson Together Again?

Despite strong denial of their alleged romance, yet they reportedly broke up just several weeks ago, Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson made a rare appearance in Australia at a private screening of “We Are Marshall.”

According to PerezHilton.com, the so called “former boyfriend” of actress Kate Hudson reportedly flew to Australia last week, where Hudson is shooting a movie with Matthew McConaughey, to be with her on Valentine’s Day.

According to the Daily Telegraph, Hudson and Wilson were spotted kissing over lunch in the hotel's packed brasserie last Tuesday, just hours after his arrival.

Although the pair stayed at the same hotel, luxury Palazzo Versace hotel in Australia’s Gold Coast, they both did their best not to be photographed together. During their bike ride on Sunday, they rode on opposite sides of the road just in case any paparazzi would dare snap pictures of them.

However, the two were snapped together for the first time since they’ve been in Australia at a private screening of Hudson’s most recent movie, “Fool’s Gold,” at a Gold Coast cinema.



A source tells American publication People, "They were cozy, they chose seats together and seemed relaxed, although slightly nervous, probably because they were in public together.

“Once the lights dimmed, they chilled out a bit more," the witness added.

"They walked hand-in-hand to the back door of the cinema but leapt apart and headed for separate doors when they realized a photographer was present," a witness told the Daily Telegraph.

Wilson reacted rather violently and while rushing up the stairs, he pushed the photographer out of his way twice, shocking fans who said they intended to take pictures of him.

"We were going to ask him for a photograph but when we saw him trying to ram the photographer we were too scared, and we couldn't even look at him," said Jemima O'Neill.

"We had been waiting for nearly two hours, but he was so angry we thought there is no way we are going to ask him for a photograph now."

Kate Hudson and husband Chris Robinson announced their separation in August last year after almost six years of marriage. The actress was romantically linked with Owen Wilson right away. Hudson, 27, and Wilson, 38, met on the set of their movie, “You, Me and Dupree.”

The two have been spotted spending time together in California and Hawaii.

Ray Liotta arrested after car crash

Actor Ray Liotta, best known for his part in the 1990 mafia movie 'Goodfellas', was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after he crashed into two parked cars on Saturday night.

The 52-year-old, who will next be seen in South Africa opposite Ben Affleck in 'Smokin' Aces' was driving his silver SUV, a Cadillac Escalade, alone at about 8pm when the collision occurred in the area of Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles. "Mr. Liotta was cooperative and was arrested without incident," LA Police Department Officer Mike Lopez told People magazine.

"There were no injuries."

Reportedly one of the two cars — which were a BMW and red Toyota sedan — was hit so hard it ended on the pavement.

"Officers conducted a test on Mr. Liotta and determined he was under the influence of something, we don't know exactly what yet," Lopez said.

According to TMZ, Liotta was not under the influence of alcohol.

Liotta, who has also appeared in films like 'Hannibal', 'Copland' and 'Narc', was taken to a nearby police station and booked on misdemeanor DUI charges.

He posted bail of $15 000 and was ordered to appear in court on 19 March.

The actor most recently starred in the ill-fated TV series 'Smith' but will next be seen in the US in 'Wild Hogs' alongside Tim Allen, John Travolta and William H. Macy.

Sylvester Stallone got a raid from Australian Customs officers

Sylvester Stallone had an unusual welcome when he arrived in Australia Friday night: a raid from Australian Customs officers.

The actor arrived in Australia on his jet Friday night to promote his movie “Rocky Balboa.” There was a problem though when prohibited items were discovered in Stallone's possession, through routine x-rays of luggage.

The Daily Telegraph Online reports that on Monday Stallone and members of his group were seen throwing things from a hotel window. Australian customs raided the Rocky star’s room at Hyatt Hotel. A summons was also issued to require Stallone to answer charges on prohibited substances, according to AAP.

It is not clear yet what the whole fuss really was about. Customs and hotel management have refused to comment or give any details about the seized items.

Stallone himself simply said: “To (customs) it's major, but it's really minor stuff. I just made a mistake,” as quoted by the Daily Telegraph.

On Monday night the 60-year-old actor left for Thailand, where he will begin filming the fourth film in his Rambo series, “Pearl of the Cobra,” the Sydney Morning Herald reported.

Though Customs would not confirm reports that bodybuilding drugs banned in Australia but legal elsewhere in the world were involved, Stallone only replied to reporters’ questions that “it's something I've taken for years” and “it's not dangerous.”

Besides illegal drugs, Australia prohibits unlicensed importation of many steroids and performance-enhancing substances for sporting use.

The actor was good-natured about the incident though. “That was just a misunderstanding,” Stallone told reporters at the Australian premiere of Rocky Balboa”. “Customs is doing a great job.”

Stallone put a lot of energy in the making of the latest Rocky Balboa movie, taking credit for writing, directing and playing in the motion picture. Critics consider this sixth installment the best Rocky film since the Oscar-winning first movie.

“Around 1996-97 I could see the writing on the wall,” Stallone told reporters. “Things weren't going well, and I thought 'Boy, as my career's winding down, if there's one thing I could fix, it would have been Rocky, because I knew Rocky V missed the mark.'”
